Giridharan Govindswamy has recently donned a new role as the India Country Manager of Corel. He brings with him 15 years of experience in sales and marketing. Prior to joining Corel he worked for Kinfotech as Assistant General Manager handling Adobe, Autodesk M&ED, Autodesk PTD & Corel products.

In his new role as Govindswamy will lead the company’s India operations and focus on increasing overall country business revenue, visibility and branding, channel development, working parallel with business software alliance initiatives, conducting events with the partner community for updating customers on the company’s latest products.

Govindswamy loves reading management books and tries to put in use the best practices he learns from them. He believes that a good leader is one who is capable of learning every human’s nature and then provides support from his and organization’s perspective. His current read is ‘Our iceberg is melting’ by John Kotter. Apart from reading, he also enjoys playing cricket and Indoor games.
